Not many, its one of my bought patterns but cut out in her size. Its a very difficult dress that I have struggled with before , but she liked the style

I think it's wonderful that you are helping her Sue. Where else could she find mentoring like that? She will never forget you!
I shall be in the shed early doors working on my castings. Not sure where I'll be going this morning. I am very close to a tear down and painting session......
I can feel a pork belly session coming on but might postpone that for a couple of days....

I had to decide this morning where I wanted to go next. I decided to bite the bullet and get set up ready for painting, one of my least favourite jobs! So I wasn't in the shed for long this morning, all I did was break the castings down to their component parts. Now I shall have breakfast and second sleep....

I am up again after four hours of second sleep. All seems to be well so far. I shall brew a pot of tea and consider my options....

Me too - but I can't help thinking of Lord Glenalvy's (Patrick Campbell) boss's comment when he was told that he was taking a short break.

You have a good memory David.....
I shall be in the shed early doors but not for painting, I shall make a piston and fit it with a rod and rings.... Later, despite the rain, I shall go to the Co-op for milk and oranges and onions for my pork belly....

I decided to make my piston and rod and so I started turning a slug of CI bar to size. Lovely material and I suspect it's Meehanite, centrifugally cast and superior iron. I took it down to size and knocked off after half an hour. I fancy breakfast.

Morning
I think our short break is going to be a more hectic itinerary than usual. Lots planned for today with a forecast of sun wind and rain. Its the steam train to Port Erin after breakfast then various historical and natural history visits. Have a good day all

Going to the u3a history group. Should have been an out visit to the Spitfire museum in Blackpool, but it was cancelled due to lack of interest. Not sure what will be going on now, but we shall go and see.

Well that was short and sweet, nothing going on, no one there at u3a so we went for a drive around Jeffrey Hill, the views up there are magnificent, you are on top of the world and can see everything.

I'm back from my trip out to the Co-op Gloria... I've got some shelf fillers and the oranges and onions for my pork belly tomorrow.
Found two big burgers on sell by date reduction so I'm cooking them to add to my veggies as an extender....
