I stumbled over this video on Youtube. It is how I remember the towers but with one exception, my visit was on a bitterly cold day in winter and we were not allowed to go out on to the open air viewing platform.....

It's not often you find a video that is beyond criticism but I have found one. It is very specialised, being the story of the Gardner engine and more importantly the cause of its demise in the 1980s. It is of course a subject close to my heart and one I know quite a bit about....
Try it and see how it grabs you. Even if you are not an enthusiast, it is a good story.
