Morning

As it was raining hard yesterday morning I drove to the hospital for my xray, and I expected to have to wait ages as its a drop in service. However I was back home within 30 minutes which amazed me. It’s a bit damp this morning but noticeably warmer. It should dry up later today though not actually raining at the moment. Bob wants to walk down to the bank this morning and I have sewing with Maxine this afternoon. I have finished my suit jacket at last apart from the button holes so Maxine will help me where exactly to put those. This evening I have zoom pilates at 6.45 pm.

Have a dood day all

That was good service Sue! Nice to hear of something medical going well.....
I have just got up after a big second sleep. All that presses in on me today is cooking veggies.... I shall take my time over it. And yes, it looks as though we have come out of the unseasonably cold weather that has been the norm lately.....

Three hours of honest endeavour and I have four pans of cooked veggies and two meals of Smoked mackerel, chips and peas for dinner and tea.... When the hob has cooled I will clean it.... That's a good morning!

Morning

Today will be warm and dry. I have art at Haslingden this morning and a dental appointment this afternoon to discuss the treatment I need for an ailing tooth, that unfortunately is supporting a bridge at the front of my mouth. I fear a hefty bill and rather a lot of work to be done. This afternoon, late, Lucy will come to do the hem on her dress. Her next challenge is a pair of trousers which we will start sometime in the near future to fit in with her exams.

Have a good day all

Stanley, am I getting something wrong, isn’t your shed in your house? If so, why can you not do your painting? Am I missing something?

It's spray painting and as a matter of principle I don't do that in the shed Gloria.... And it's just as much a matter of fume dispersal and quick drying as anything. Same restrictions apply to my woodwork on the plinths with the router... Too much mess!
(And I don't enjoy either job so am very easily discouraged! )

It's brighter than forecast and warm so I was tempted to start painting as soon as I had finished getting my savoury cabbage cooking.... But then common sense prevailed, it will do tomorrow.... :biggrin2:

After a rough start with the site in the early hours things improved. I have cooked my buttered swede as an extender, Painted my castings and posted my letter. In between I read my smart meters. Time to knock off now....

Not as bad as yesterday Kev but still occasional slow downs. I am trying to ignore them.
Once again my activities will be postponed until later because I want to do a bit of woos-bothering in the yard to produce a plinth for this engine. It will do the paint good to wait another 24 hours to set.
Later I shall be considering making my sweet potato chips.....

Morning

I had no problems yesterday and so far so good today.

Its a misty start this morning with a good forecast. We are having a prompt breakfast and then driving to Matlock to have lunch with Bobs cousin and her husband who will be driving there from Leicester. We thought if we went early we could park before the weekend crowds arrive. We made this arrangement some months ago not knowing it was going to be a really warm weekend. Have a good day all

Malicious activity ramped up around midnight, went to bed just after 11. I found another potential IP I missed last night, it originates in Arizona but the user could be anywhere.
I've blocked the range they were using.
I'm going out this evening and will be getting home around midnight, I'll make a point of logging into Plesk to see if I can see anything.

Morning Sue, I hope you have a good trip over to Matlock... When I was going there regularly for the Yates engine it always took me three hours from Barlick.... no easy way of going there....
What I am watching now is Susan's flight leaving Perth for Kuala Lumpur, the first leg of her flight home..... Flight MH 0124.

I was going to cook a chicken sometime over the weekend but moved it forwards to today as it is relatively cool. I suspect tomorrow and Monday will be too hot.....
