She's home. It was a half and half vehicle with both bed and seats. She found it more comfortable sitting. Thanks for all your support. Nolic

Improvement will really start now. Home comforts, loving family, good food. Give it two weeks and you won't believe the difference.

Still very hot here and we have a plague of flies and biting insects. Despite insect repellant I am covered in insect bites. The paper says it is because of the damp Spring and hot Summer.

You're a bionic woman now Moh, you'll be competing with the other Mo (Farah)!

I've learned that the pharmacy at my dad's GP's surgery delivers prescriptions to his care home so I rang the pharmacy this morning and asked for his name to be added to the list for delivering. This they have done....but they require me to ring in each time to check if a prescription is ready for him and, if it's ready, then ask them to deliver it. They won't deliver it unless I've checked and said it's ready, and tell them to go ahead and deliver it. How bizarre, when they are the ones who know if it's ready or not! I asked them what happens if I'm on holiday and they said "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it".

Watching the Belgium GP practice, and feeling a little sad. For many years six of us would travel to Spa for a long weekend, unfortunately due to a number of reasons the attendance fell till four years ago only two of us were left and we decided this would be our last visit. Now memories are all that I have, but very happy ones. The sport still thrills though.

Most exciting F1 qualifying for a while. Looking forward to watching the race tomorrow. I hope it's raining in Belgium, (come on Jensen!) and here too, so I don't feel too guilty about staying indoors and watching.

We have dried out somewhat, so I took the opportunity to weed the garden whilst Febby mowed the lawns.
I discovered little piles of mandarine skins...dog has been sampling the fruit again.
( she has been moping about today due to an ear infection, and very good she is too at spitting out the antibiotics we have to give her, but I have discovered she will swallow them if I wrap them in a small bit of bread smeared with Peanut Paste. The ear drops are slightly trickier and require two people )

So, as well as the hairs and night-time restrictions you have to help doctor it as well? Point out to the lad that instead of waiting for an infection to kick off iot's better to put ordinary human eardrops in once a fortnight and massage the ears. If there is more than one dog in the house they tend to clean each other's ears. Solitary dogs need human intervention.
