Just been to see the War Horse at the Lowry theatre in Salford. It was preceded by a lovely meal at the restaurant. A fabulous birthday treat(if a few days early).
The War Horse was the best production I have ever seen in my life. Two hours of spellbinding emotion, and so like the book.
To top it all when I asked about the chutney that came with the cheese board the chef sent me a copy of the recipe via the waitress.
