World War One Exhibition at Barnoldswick Library

Post by Barnoldswick Library »

Hi ! My name is Julia and I work at Barnoldswick Library. I am currently working on an exhibition to commemorate the centenery of WW1 in Barnoldswick with an interest in the names on the cenotaph, stories from local families and other items such as the munitions site and the canal during that time. I would like to ask if anyone has any memorabilia such as photographs, letters, small books (soldiers pocket book), anything that you would be prepared to lend that relates to the soldiers and families of the town. If preferred, items can be copied at the library and the original returned.
If you have any such items, they can be handed in to the library on any day except Tuesday afternoon.
Many thanks in anticipation
Julia

Morning Julia, nice to see you taking advantage of the site! Don't let your only visit be a request... go exploring using the search button at the top of the screen, plenty of useful stuff for you and your customers....
