Sally is taking Ruby home to Stratford on the train after her role as one of Carla's bridesmaids. Isla who was the other junior bridesmaid is with me today and were going to Jack's girlfriend, Tori's birthday tea today in Read, there will be a brass band and carols. Taking her home to her mum and dad in Silsden when they get back down from the Lakes. Christmas shopping (only 1 and I know where to get it), on the way.

Hope the wedding went well despite the weather Ian.
A bit of last minute shopping and local card deliveries for me then I'm going to decorate the tree and settle down to enjoy a quiet Xmas.

Done food shopping this morning - Morrison's surprisingly quiet. Just turkey, sausages etc to collect from Roaming Roosters in the morning.
Say only a little but say it well.

I shall have a normal day and await the summons to Earby for Xmas dinner with Susan and most of the kids. Janet is incommunicado today I think they are having Xmas Dinner at a hotel..... I've talked to Margaret in Perth, she has a house full and they sit down to dinner in a couple of hours.....
Next job is a walk with Jack in the dark, no doubt there will be a lot of windows lit early this morning as kids open presents.....

I have been shopping in Rochdale this morning for garnet ear rings. Julia is 40 next Sunday. I got just what I wanted. I expected to have to brave the crowds in Manchester but thought I would try local first
