Small pork pie and peas for dinner. Steak pudding with peas and left over baked beans for tea. Weighed myself and I am under twelve and a half stone for the first time in years. Am pressing on with sensible eating!

Two half pressed beef butties on toast, one for dinner and one for tea, fruit for pudding. Resisted the temptation to top up after tea. Feeling very smug.... (Sorry.....)

A tiny pressed beef butty for dinner. (Kath cave me a small thin sliced wholemeal loaf on Friday, ideal for small butties). For tea I pushed the boat out and had two butties, one with the last of the beef and the other with a boiled egg on it. You'd laugh if you could see me chewing each mouthful for a long time to make the most out of it!

No need to Maz, I can alw2ays have a spoonful of this. The cabbage, celery, pea and two shear this morning after bring it to a simmer on the stove. It would raise dead men!

I had a small bowl of the two shear stew for dinner and as I had six very small slices of bread left and a piece of Parmesan Regiano that is slowly dying I had Parmesan and beetroot butties for tea. Three butties sounds a lot but isn't. I must freeze some two shear today after raising it to temperature to sterilise it, because of my small helpings, it is going to last a lot longer.....

A small helping of the two shear X two for dinner and tea. Got a bad case of the munchies last night as I watched snooker but manages to fight it off with two small apples and a pear. I am getting quire enthusiastic about getting below 12 stone, the benefits are so great. I don't get hungry, just the urge to eat. When it happens I think of beer bellies overhanging the waistband of too tight trousers! That generally works......

Small helping of two shear for dinner and what was left augmented by half a tin of beans and some chips for tea. Slightly too large a helping but not serious and no munchies..... (Apart from exercising my teeth nibbling a corner of left over Parmesan to 'clear the fridge out')

Chaudrey's had some beautiful big cauliflowers at 49p yesterday so I got one and steamed it for dinner. It was a big one but I ate the lot because with whey butter, salt and pepper it was so good. Felt guilty afterwards but of course it counts as greens Maz. Steak pudding and peas for tea... very small bowl full.

Noooo..noooo.no...Cauliflower isn't "greens", Stanley. It's white, so that should be a big clue.
But I am jealous of your 49p. I bought a very small ( but fresh) Cauliflower today for £2. I almost didn't buy it because that is a ridiculous price, but eeeee it did look nice, and heart ruled the head. I certainly won't be wasting it and I will make sure we eat every bite.
Cazza enjoyed my Red Salmon Pasta tonight.

Margaret told me the same thing Maz. Even more expensive in Perth.
Pressed beef butties for dinner. Pie and peas for tea. During the day I started building a two shear stew. By teatime the gravy augmented the pie and peas. By bedtime it was a pan full, after carrots and celery were added. No cooking today!

Moderate helpings of two shear and veg plus the last butt end of a loaf at teat time. Today I shall augment the stew again with a small chopped cabbage.....

If you keep feeding them that well they'll be all over you! Finished the cabbage and two shear yesterday with two small helpings for dinner and tea. I have 4 plain teacakes and I'm looking forward to some butties today.

We don't eat like that everyday, when it is just His Lordship and I.
 but we do "push the boat out" for the kids. They are still in their magical thirties and could die of starvation between lunch and tea. I remember the days....
It's not like that any more. You reach the age where you cross an invisible line and just the smell of a Roast Potato puts weight on.
Not fair....

Exactly right Maz, it's not fair!
Had an oven bottom with mashed sardines on for dinner with an un-buttered scone for pudding. Tea was two small plain teacakes with a fried battered cod fillet divided between the two. Very nice......
