1:1 Scale Airfix Kit City of Truro

Maybe belonging under model making , or model railways, a differing view of the GWR Locomotive City of Truro.

Not the Airfix kit - a highly popular item in the 1960s and 70s , and white metal wheel and chassis conversions with motors were also avalible.

The locomotive is pictured on the first public weekend of passenger operation on the southern extension from Blumsden on the Swindon and Cricklade Railway.
