No, nothing to do with electric juicers. Here's a clue - you can't see all of it in the photo.

No, not an apple corer. It's a very simple item really. You're on the right track with kitchen and food. Mrs Tiz says it's a smashing bit of kit!

Garlic crusher?

I'm only guessing, I thought it was a lemon juicer like David suggested.

Kev's got it! A potato masher, bought from Lakeland Plastics about 10 years ago but appears to be not available from them now...

Ice?
The masher does the job OK but I suppose there are lots of different designs available.

It's not on the bodywork of your car as it's the wrong colour, unless it's on someone else's car. Is it indoors or out?

No one is spot on, but it's a bit of a miserable mystery object, so I'll let you have it.

Which was exactly what I was going to say, David (!) but I was going to come back to the topic to do that, and forgot.
Never mind. I know I am telling the truth, just no way to prove it.

Yes, crumb tray of a 2 slice toaster. ( we have a 4 slice toaster and a bigger crumb tray. ( though they don't catch much, and you still have to turn the buggar upside down and smack it about to get the bits out).

Here's a funny mystery for you and an opportunity to test Wendy's memory! What was the typesetting error that rendered the Bibles featured in 'Hundred year old man' unsaleable? (Have a bit of patience with me, I've put this in because it's funny!)
