A 7am glance at the sky showed a few clouds in an otherwise clear sky; it was over an hour and a half before there was something worth picturing.

A good sunset, too, though I missed it as on a family visit to valley bound Cononley.

Took this snap of Barlick and Earby, with Pendle and Weets silhouetted against the sky, on the way back.

This image isn't as crisp as the weather outside... Barlick in the frost before sunrise this morning.

(I was waiting to see if I could get a moonset pic with the frosty ground, but a bank of cloud covered it.)

It turned out to be what the old farmers used to call a 'brewing day'. The weather was gearing up for what we may get this afternoon. Prepare for snow on Weets?
