I had to smile when he finally wrestled the reproduction Victorian sink off its mount, and carried it he-man style off to the garage. Unfortunately he bashed into the corner of the wooden side-board in the hall...which now has a chunk taken out of it, and he has a matching injury to one arm. Somehow, over the course of two days, he has trod blood through the house with a cut to one toe, and has injuries to both hands also. I seem to run behind him with a roll of paper towel and a container of various sized sticking plasters...and a mop and bucket for the big injuries.

I reckon you should get him some of those forensic type of overalls they wear on the telly at the scene of the crime,
Oh and some gloves and goggles... Hehe

Good idea. That way all the blood would be contained...and will fill up the White integrated Wellies rather than muck up the house. :laugh5:

So do you spray it on before the injury so that it's the pretend skin that is scraped off, or after the cut to help stick everything back together?!!!

A combination of paper thin skin and very high dose blood thinners taken every 12 hours...so I am not exaggerating. Even shaving can be a technicolour start to the day!
We haven't tried the spray on skin yet, Liz. He has one large skin tear that I think needs it ( which has been oozing for two days and band aids are useless because they just tear the skin more on removal), but so far he won't try the skin spray because I can't promise it won't sting (!)
I feel the need to seal or cover the wounds because he nearly died of Septicaemia a couple of years ago. But he likes to do things his way...
Being accident prone doesn't help of course.

Just don't tell him its going to sting. Be very surprised!! My daughter had to insist that they super glued her sons head back together. The doctor said he was too busy to stitch it and she should go to the hosptital. Needless to say he's no longer their doctor, but the super glue worked.

:sorry: too late for that Liz.
I warned him it may sting a bit yesterday as I prepared to spray...and that put the knockers on it...he refused to have it.
Next time, I will choose a better word than "sting".

Spray skin can be useful stuff especially on something like and injury to a knuckle where the area is constantly being stretched and relaxing. Haven't seen any for years here.... I used to laugh at Newton putting Manganesite jointing compound on cuts until I saw a report of Manganese being used in the treatment of persistent leg ulcers.
I'm having difficulty in being sensible and not doing too much in the shed. Things are getting very exciting!

The buyers mortgage has fallen through but they really want the house so we have decided to stick with it. Aagh! On to another house, the carpets go down on Wednesday at Anglesey. I tidied the garden today. We hope to have let it again by April. It's been a long job but we feel we have rescued a 200+ year old cottage that we love very much.

Funny isn't it Sue. A mortgage used to be a cast iron certainty for both buyer and provider, it was such a safe bet. But all that changed due to the greed of the providers when they chased dodgy deals and eventually caused the 2008 crash. Now they have swung to 'super cautious mode' and it's people like you that suffer. You have my sympathy. Just think of the number of people that are in your position..... I hope your buyers find a sensible lender soon and then you can get on with your life.
Guess where I shall be.....
