It was smashing on the top yesterday, not a lot of folk, one lady runner with her black and white Border Collie as her ears flat racing pacemaker who I met when I was on the moor going over from Duckpond and one bloke going up the ridge as I was coming down.

I saw the dog first David, ears flat and pegging it straight for me over the moor, over the next rise I saw the lass who's running mate it was. We stopped to exchange pleasantries and she said the dog was her pacemaker although it generally ran twice as far as she did.

Posted following a request for a fresh picture of the work on Bankfield Shed.

An area of northlight has been left at the southern, Skipton Road, end of the shed together with a section at the northern end. In between, the roof has been taken down with just a stub of northlight left against the two storey part of the old mill. The exposed parts have been built up with block walling and clad with uPVC boarding.

Another point to note is that the slate roof of the two storey building has been covered in roofing felt to waterproof it...

Unseen in this picture is the concrete floor of the demolished area, which has been coated with a bitumen sealant to try and prevent water getting into the remaining parts of the building.

This is one I've just pinched from David's gallery, I must have missed it before or is the old memory going?

Bankfield clearance.

All the posts would need their gallery syntax references updating to get the images back in the posts. Thread instigator and poster of most of the images has not been on the site for nearly three years now. Any volunteers to put them back, in the remit of all admins and moderators as well as the post owner if there is a will.

I think the post was bumped for the hen pen post which is a long way back in the thread.

Sorry about that I never thought. The pic was the one of Bank House and the hen huts in forgotten corners.
