It's quite nice out there.... I've been for a walk, picked my meds up at Well, called in at the surgery to remind them I am due for a blood test and rounded off by calling at the Co-op for a couple of shelf fillers. Nice to sit down!

Yesterday afternoon improved slowly as the day wore on but we still had that wind chill. We had good late sun as I was going to bed at 19:00. This morning is calm clear and we have a full moon at 08:44. (The heating has not come on....) The glass is almost on 1018mb and tending to rise.... The constant SE wind will be light to moderate giving us a high of 23C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill that could reach -3C but is -2C for much of the day. The UV and Pollen levels are both very high. The outlook is for two more days of these temperatures and then cooler but better than we have been having of late.
Later at 05:00. I spoke too soon, the CH has kicked in....

Yesterday stayed sunny and warm right up to sunset. This morning it is calm, clear and mild. The glass is down slightly on 1500mb and the forecast is for a sunny start until noon and then increasing cloud with the chance of a light shower later. The brisk wind will be mainly ESE gusting to 35mph and we can expect a high of 23C with a low of 13C tonight and a wind chill of up to -4C this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather all next week.
Later at 05:00 Red sky in the morning; shepherd's warning.

Yesterday the sun was never quite as strong as the forecast suggested and in the afternoon we had quite a lot of what I would describe as 'bright overcast'. This morning first thing we had a lively breeze, a clear sky and it was mild. Since then we have a light overcast. The glass is on 1011mb and rising. We start with a moderate south wind and by the end of the day it will be NNW gusting to 35mph. We can expect a high of 23C and a low tonight of 13C with a -3C chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for similar slightly disturbed weather.

Yesterday afternoon was again more bright overcast than sun. There was no late sunshine and the breeze and wind chill persisted. This morning it was calm and overcast but dry. There was evidence of a light shower during the night. The glass rose a but yesterday but this morning has fallen back to 1012mb. The forecast is for a bright overcast day with showers expected either side of midday and a yellow warning for thunderstorms until 18:00 this evening. The wind is a moderate Easterly but later this morning will become westerly and brisk gusting to 35mph. We can expect a high of 20C and a low of 12C tonight with a wind chill of up to -4C when the wind is strongest. The outlook for next week is bright overcast weather similar to today but drier.

Morning Cathy! You are consistently cooler and wetter than we are now. I think we can commiserate with you as you go into Autumn and Winter!
