Salterforth Draining
I the undersigned Thomas Buttle the Commissioner for carrying into execution the Barnoldswick and Salterforth Inclosure Act.
Do hereby give you notice that I have made a second Assessment for the purpose of defraying the expense of making and completing several Open Cuts and Main Drains in Salterforth Moss and other lands within the Township of Salterforth and that your proportion of such Assessment amounts to the sum of Ten pounds Twelve shillings which you are required to pay to myself at the house of Mrs Bond the Kay's Arms Inn, in Thornton on Thursday the Fifth Day of December next.
Given under my Hand the Second day of November 1822.
