Up and out just after 5.30 now at the port. We have just eaten the remnants of the kitchen fruit bowl which will keep us going till breakfast on the ferry. Its foggy

Today will be a leisurely breakfast, pack the car and drive down to Portsmouth. No doubt we will stop somewhere en route .Its also Erins birthday. She is 12. That has been a fast 12 years.

Morning Rain for a couple of hours this morning then dry , cloudy, and back to a low 5 to 6 degrees. After a few lovely days the garden is now all tidy, even the apple tree pruned so later this morning when the rain stops I intend planting some sweet pea seeds in large pots at the back of the house....
