They are a different sender each time but Thunderbird always catches them and puts them in the junk folder.

Kev, have a look at my further SSL woes but regarding Plesk access. Am I missing something?

Further to the phishing scams I have blocked. I have noticed that the senders are almost always what looks like private email addresses supported by Hotmail or Gmail and so I don't see how they can be blocked..... Thunderbird is very good at recognising them and putting them in the junk mail folder.

I couldn't get on the site at 19:30, checked and the CPU was maxed out at 100% on the server. This is now sorted. Looked to be an 'attack' from multiple IP addresses in Singapore

I still can't get into Plesk, Firefox and Chrome reject the site on security grounds.

A bit later, just got in using the link Kev provided the other day.

The storm of data from Singapore should not have happened, I put SG in the Firewall a couple of months ago. I did Indonesia and Sri Lanka in the same block. :dontgetit:

Nope, you share your initials with the the international 2 digit country code for Singapore. It's a lot easier to use wide brush compared to adding individual and ranges of IP's to the firewall.

On a wing and a prayer we must be doing something right. Our server status is rated at 4050 on a scale of 4550.

Looking again, 43.x.x.x is China not Singapore. It was most likely happening as the firewall was disabled, once I re-enabled it it picked up on your original rule :good:

Kev, if you have a bit of time can you try deploying a new version of the Dev Site. There are two spare databases on the IONOS site with different versions of PHP. Feel free to change the password to get access to either. You can display all the config information using "database details". Dev site runs in our original web space on the IONOS side of course.

I may be missing something.

I'll see if I can find time later this afternoon, I'm away from my desktop at the moment and it's not something I can do on my phone.

Biggest update ever to Ubuntu.... 315mb and you wouldn't believe how fast it downloaded and installed. Less than 3 minutes. Very impressive....
