Yesterday the rain persisted until mid afternoon and we ended the day overcast but dry. It was still like that this morning and the glass is steady on 1021mb. The forecast is for a day dominated by overcast and heavy rain coming in this evening after 18:00. The southerly winds will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 17C and a low of 11C tonight with as much as a -3C wind chill at times. The outlook is unsettled, cooler and wetter.

It started raining around 19:00 yesterday and rained all night. This morning it's wet and windy, still raining. The glass id down on 1005mb and the forecast is for us to have a dry spell from about 06:00 to 19:00 and then two yellow warnings for wind and rain kick in. The constant SW wind will gust to almost 30mph and we can expect a high of 16C and a low of 8C tonight with a wind chill of -2C all day until 19:00 when it shoots up to -4C. The outlook is for similar but cooler weather for the next four days and then back to sunny spells....

Just been for a walk, quite mild, just started drizzling as we got back, that has since turned to rain and light breeze.
