It did Stanley, there is another older photo of the same area, which I posted on here a few years ago, showing what must be our previous car, a Ford Prefecf!

Miracles do happen. One of my Blackburn pals many years ago heard that one of the old green & cream double-decker buses was going to make it's last trip into town so he rushed out and caught it, went upstairs and grabbed a front seat. Years later he found that a photo had been taken of the front of the bus by the local newspaper's reporter as it set off and published in the paper - and there he was in prime position!
