Yesterday I got more sprouts from the Co-op and added them to the veggies in the fridge. I love sprouts! (Good job as they are a perfect food for diabetics)

I started and finished the day with chicken and veggies but for dinner I gave in to a yen for smoked bacon, eggs and baked beans.

Out with friends to the Four Elephants for tea today, should be a good social occasion and a catch up. And, of course, good curry :good:

Had curry last night, Labour Party Curry Night for members past and present and supporters. Bosoms room was rammed. Curry was a mixture of vegetarian options only as a majority of those present are veggies. Tasty anyway and very well attended. Nice to catch up with a few other ex members.

Enjoy yours at the Elephants Kev, not been to the venue for a while.

Three hot meals..... It begins to look as though today might be pork and orange in the slow cooker.
I can't remember when I last went to a restaurant.......

I noticed last week that in Aldi -the price of beef has increased, and substitutes are being sought even for the pies. I never saw Cheese and Onion Cornish pasties before. Confirmation came today
No meat pies

Thankfully chicken and pork are still affordable.
