Yesterday afternoon settled down into heavily overcast but dry and this was the case into the hours of darkness. First thing it was calm, mild, dry and overcast. The glass was up on 997mb and the forecast was for heavy overcast and light rain until midday, then a short brighter spell before reversion to heavy overcast and light rain as we go into the evening. The south easterly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 9C and a low of 5C tonight with a light wind chill of -2C all day. The next six days is forecast to be very similar, mild, overcast and a chance of light showers. Very kind weather!

We have a few clouds and sunning, no breeze and quite mild. A pleasant day in the offing.

Yesterday afternoon became quite bright and was quite pleasant. We have had a quiet dry night and at the moment we have a breezy morning under heavy overcast but at the moment it is dry. The glass is steady on 990mb. The forecast is for an overcast day with light rain starting in the next hour or so. The steady easterly winds will be moderate all day and we can expect a high of 6C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for most of the day. Tomorrow will be a wetter day and the rest of the week will be more variable but on the whole cooler and drier.

Here in Adelaide we have a high of 35C. 🥵
Looking forward to Thursday, they are predicting 20C.
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here. :)

I drink a lot of water Cathy, all of it straight from the tap. Our water in Barlick is mainly off sandstone and so is soft and of course at this timer of the year, very cold. It struck me this morning how nice it would taste if you could get it straight from the tap when it is 35C+ :biggrin2:

Yesterday stuck to the hymn sheet. The afternoon was almost bright, certainly acceptable. We have had a dry night and this morning we are dry under a breezy overcast even though the Met Office thinks it is raining. The glass has fallen overnight to 976mb and the forecast is for an overcast day of heavy rain. The constant east wind will be light to moderated and we can expect a high of 7C, a low of 3C tonight and a -3C wind chill until dawn and -2C thereafter. Tomorrow will also be wet but cooler and the rest of the week is a mixture of showers and sunny spells with varying temperatures.....(Saturday will be sunny! :biggrin2: )

It started raining just after tea yesterday and hasn’t stopped since, not heavy thank goodness, but rain all the same. No wind so it won’t move on with any speed.

We’ve been down to Market Drayton today, the weather on the way down wasnt to bad, but on the way back it lashed it down and the traffic on M6 was horrific.

Yesterday afternoon was exactly like the rest of the day. Heavy overcast, a moderate breeze and light rain. This continued into the evening and overnight. This morning it is the same. The glass has fallen to 972mb and the forecast is essentially the same as yesterday but with the addition of a yellow warning of possible snow and ice form 19:00 onwards. The constant NE wind will be moderate and we can expect a high of 4C and a low tonight of 0C with a wind chill of -4C from 09:00 onwards. The perceived temperature will be freezing all day so wrap up well if you are going out. Tomorrow and Sunday will be heavily overcast with the chance of snow. Saturday gives us some respite as it is forecast to be sunny but cold.

Light cloud cover, no breeze, looks like the makings of a fine day.
