Youngest offspring is in Windermere, he says it was horrendous at 4am. Thunder, lightning and heavy rain.

No lightening but heavy rain here in Northumberland about 4.00 am. Its just misty now and a lot warmer than was forecast

Hopefully there's no more lightning today or they won't let them in the water, they're in Windermere for the Great North Swim https://www.greatswim.org/

Oh, Julia usually does that but she has a bad knee at the moment so is not swimming distance. Instead she and Eve are in the Cotswolds where Eve is doing an open water swim
